Progress Takes Time
Before the day picks up speed, stop for a minute, breathe in slowly, and feel your feet on the floor. Most of what’s waiting for you today sits outside your hands: other people’s moods, the traffic, the inbox. What you do control is smaller and closer, like how you speak, how you respond, and where you put your attention.
Strength shows up in patience, in holding back a sharp reply, letting a plan change without a fight, and putting down a weight that was never yours to carry. When you pay attention to how you carry yourself instead of everything around you, the overwhelm loosens and you can see what matters next.
